WHO WE ARE

We are a local congregation of believers in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are united together through common faith in Jesus as the Son of God, the only Savior from sins. We are a forgiven and redeemed assembly who belong to God's family through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.

We are a locally autonomous Baptist church. We are affiliated with the Great Commission Baptists (Southern Baptist Convention). We are also affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Convention and the Spring River Baptist Association.

We are sinners saved by grace.  God loves us and has a purpose for our lives.  His plan is for us to live for his glory through Christ and in service to His kingdom and look forward to spending eternity with Him in heaven.

We have a vision of taking the hope of Christ to our community. We strive to promote three core foundations as a church family: worship-discipleship-service.

We want to be passionate worshippers of God. We know we owe everything to Him and we want to express our thanks and commitment to Him.

We want to be ever growing life-long disciples of Jesus Christ. We promote the life-long journey of following Christ and being transformed to be more Christ-like in all areas of life. We also want to cultivate a sense of togetherness among our church family as brothers and sisters in the Lord's family.

We want to use our spiritual gifts and God-given talents to serve the purposes of God's Kingdom and His Great Commission, as well as serve one another.

What is the gospel? how can we be forgiven by god?

The Southern baptist convention

Our church voluntarily cooperates with the Southern Baptist Convention. We are affiliated through our alignment in our beliefs as stated in the Baptist Faith & Message (2000 ed.) as well as our financial support to the Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program. We, along with 50,000 other baptist churches, cooperate to fund foreign missionaries, North American church planters, disaster relief, and theological education. Through our association with the Southern Baptist Convention, we are part of the largest foreign missionary sending organization and North America's largest disaster relief group. We are proud of this partnership and the Gospel impact our church can help take part in through the Southern Baptist Convention.
