CR meets every Friday night at 7pm!
The purpose of "Celebrate Recovery" is fellowship and to celebrate God's healing power through the 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles. This experience allows us to "be changed." We share our experiences, strengths, and hopes; we become willing to receive God’s grace in solving life’s problems. By working and applying these biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most important - a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power... Jesus Christ.
Through Large Group
Large group is a time for worship and teaching. Together we set aside the chaos and stress of the outside world through prayer, praise, and worship. The “safe” environment we seek from any recovery program begins to unfold and allows everyone present to draw near to the one and only Higher Power: Jesus Christ.
Worship is a major strength and difference between a Christ-centered and secular recovery program. Worship is life-transforming and prepares our heart to receive.
And you will sing as on the night you celebrate a holy festival/ your hearts will rejoice as when people go up with flutes to the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel. - Isaiah 30:29
Participants will be encouraged through the testimony of a person who has experience change in their life and healing in their relationships as a result of turning their life over to Christ.
Participants will receive a brief lesson on one of the 12-step recovery topics.
Through Small Groups
Following Large Group worship time, small groups meet in a more private setting, separating into men’s and women’s rooms.
The Small Group experience provides a safe, supportive, and confidential atmosphere for each person that attends. The group begins with focused discussion on a particular principle and then freely transitions into open sharing.
Celebrate Recovery Fellowship, known as Solid Rock Cafe, immediatley follows small group activity. The main focus of the event is to help members develop healthy, supportive relationships, and connect with sponsors and/or accountability partners. This is also a time to enjoy refreshments and socialize.
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!...Though one can be overpowered, two can defend themselves...A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, 12
